He has been a potter for over 40 years. The University of South Dakota and Drake University in Des Moines is where he received his training.

Design and coming up with new styles all the time is her passion.
Each of the Miller's one-of-a-kind creations receives a third kiln firing of gold or white-gold luster. This extra step brings out life and instills an individual personality to each vessel. The lusters also emphasize the vivid organic colors they use.
The Millers are proud that many of their pieces are displayed not only in galleries and private collections in the United States, but also in Norway, Germany, England and Canada.
